It's not about how much bandwidth you have...

Just learnt why ISP do bandwidth throttling

So previously on 3mbps subscription I had to enable QOS so that my game ping doesn't go to 999 when my mom watches PPS on Android box or switches on her phone

Now I got 100mbps fibre, with less than 70mbps reaching through homeplug to my desktop plus the wireless to Android box and phones

Think that would be enough? Turns out nope

When my mom switches on her phone I still get 999ms ping. And again I solved it using QOS, so I could assure it is my mom's phone at fault

It can't be bandwidth since wireless can never outrun 100mbps, so it has to be the poisonous connections by the phone

How my mom can install until her phone is able to shutdown a fiber connection is a wonder, but she having poor mastery of English and hence visiting and downloading lots of Chinese websites and apps is probably a clue
