[Triple Look] Jonsbo C2 Case / FSP Hexa+ 450W PSU / Deepcool Gabriel ITX Cooler

We'll be looking at 3 products at once today.

First off, we have the Deepcool Gamer Storm Gabriel Low Profile CPU Cooler.

Gabriel DEEPCOOL GAMER STORM

Deepcool Gamer Storm Gabriel Review

DeepCool Gabriel CPU Cooler Review | Pure Overclock - Part 7

The Gabriel falls under Deepcool's Gamerstorm series of products. They're meant to be better finished, provide better aesthetics while keeping high performance and low cost.

Specs for your reference.

The stock fan is 20mm thick instead of 25mm. Entire heatsink including fan sits at 120x120x60mm. Fan bearing is Hydro (FDB) for longer lifespan.

We'll mount it to an old i5 2500 CPU and B75 board.

Base is flat but not fully polished. Shiny side of the mounting brackets face the same direction as the base. Matt side faces upward (not shown).

You can adjust for the cooler to overhang in any direction. It'll clear standard height rams.

We changed orientation for this board for easier access to the 24pin later. Fan is also mounted in reverse to work in tandem with the PSU to exhaust air.

Next up we look at the fairly new FSP HEXA+ 450W PSU.

HEXA+ 450 | HEXA+ Series | Power Supply | FSPLifeStyle

It clears 80PLUS standards meaning it'll do higher than 80% efficiency at 20-100% load.

This PSU is 230V AC input only. This revision to the HEXA means you'll get full compatibility with Intel's latest CPUs and also latest ErP/Eup standards.

Packaging is fairly simple. Bubble bag to protect the PSU. You also get a SAFETY approved power cable and mounting thumb screws.

Spec wise you'll a total of 450W with over 380W coming from the +12v rail to support GPUs using up to 225W.

All cables on this PSU are sleeved for better aesthetics and cable management.

5 SATA, 2 Molex and 1 Floppy connectors are provided.

20+4 pin, 4+4pin 12V and dual 6+2pin PCIe cables. This is an upgrade from the previous 4pin 12V and single 6pin PCIe cable in the HEXA 400.

Lastly, we have Jonsbo's latest mini case - the C2.

The C2's box is quite like Bitfenix's. It gives you a quick outline of the case and its specs.

Inside you get the fully Aluminium case, a dust filter to be mounted with a 120/140mm fan and the standard screw bits.

A rear view. While the C2 can take Micro ATX boards, its limited to smaller ones with shorter width. Also you only get 3 PCI expansion slots instead of 4. Its enough to house a dual slot GPU and a PCIe wifi controller. PSU will act as exhaust in this tiny case. Do get something of decent quality as there'll be plenty of warm air passing through the PSU.

I/O is mounted on the left side of the case. Its flush with the side panel and keeps the case's lines sleek. Jonsbo's brush finish is also top notch.

Take off the 2 side panels and this is what you'll find.

The front Aluminium plate mounts 1 x 2.5" and 1 x 3.5" drives.

You can mount a single 120/140mm fan at the bottom as intake or exhaust.

Or you can mount a 3.5" + 2.5" drive here. We prefer the fan to give the case better airflow.

There's also a small cable management cutout for the front HDD bracket.

For GPU, we can fit a Zotac 760 AMP (19cm) into this case. It supports up to 22cm GPUs but shorter is easier to manage of course.

Get all the connectors in place before you mount the PSU. The PSU should be the last item to go into the case. We put an old Palit 560Ti in place of the Zotac 760 AMP here.

Put the 2 side panels back in and well this is what you get.

Our excited staff took the system home before we could get a shot of the finished product.
