Sources are of the view that this notebook will either come by the end of 2014 or in early 2015.
Reports coming in from Apple’s Asia based supply chain today suggest that the company is readying a slimmer MacBook. It has been claimed that component production for this notebook has already begun. Though it hasn’t been said if this notebook will be branded as a MacBook Air or as the 12-inch MacBook that we have heard about in the past.
It was rumored last month that since Intel has delayed its Broadwell processor consequently Apple has had to push back the launch of its 12-inch MacBook. This particular notebook reportedly has a retina display and might the successor for the MacBook Air.
Now though the rumors coming in from the supply chain claim that things are shaping up for an expected launch in either the end of 2014 or in the first few months of 2015. This notebook might bring an end to the 13-inch non-Retina MacBook Pro which has already been due for an update but hasn’t received one yet.
Apple is expected to make notebook related announcements at an event in October, but it hasn’t outlined those plans as yet, so takes these rumors with a grain of salt.
