My main fibre gateway is in my living room, and it's a little far from my room, so when i'm on my phone, I get really weak wifi signals.
I have an ethernet cable that runs from my living room to my room for my PC.
I found a brand new singtel 5012NV-002 that was given previously before we sign a new plan, so I thought I can hook the 5012NV-002 up to my Ethernet cable running into my room, then attach a new ethernet cable from the 5012NV-002 to my PC.
That way, I've a wifi network in my room too.
BUT! No matter how I change the configurations, I just can't seem to get internet access on my 5012NV-002. Is this possible? Has anyone tried this before?
If someone has tried before and it's possible, i'm really gonna just try all configurations possible. Sincerely hope some Gurus here can shed some light. I tried googling, but there's no specific thread found on this.
