As part of my upgrade of my desktop, I have decided to add a monitor arm clamp onto my desk.
But I'm afraid that my desk may not be able to handle the weight of the arm.
I'm currently using Ikea Galant series wooden desk.
So does adding a additional piece of plastics help to spread/diverse the pressure/weight to a larger area instead of the area around clamp?
