Should i deploy Bluetooth headphone(s)x2 or speaker?

distance from tv to sofa = 2.5m

distance from tv to sofa (sited, body leaned back) = 3m



Problem:

i cannot UP vol more than 10 or else will disturb my wife/bb sleeping in masterroom.

i bought a 2.5m wired 3.5mm headphone Koss UR-20 Home Headphones during black friday sale.

but currently, i am regretting of buying wired because the wire is going to be hanging in mid air when i sit on my sofa (tv is wall mounted) plus am not sure if it restricts my movement on sofa while i drink and eat my popcorn. (headphones still in transit from amazon)



currently exploring wireless bluetooth transmitter solution. i have 2 proposed solutions and like to hear advices:



1) buy bluetooth transmitter. Eg. Monoprice 109722 Bluetooth Transmitter and Splitter. then buy 2 sets of bluetooth headphones. 1 set for myself and 1 for my wife (watches movie with me on weekends)



2) save the money, just get the Bluetooth Transmitter and pair it with a portable bluetooth speaker (Portable Wireless Speaker with Bluetooth) which i already owned free when i bought Sony Xperia Z. To place the speaker on top of sofa but BEHIND between me and wife's head.

P.S. more bluetooth transmitter choices when pairing with single speaker because most transmitter can only pair 1 receiver.
