5-room flat, [room1][room2][room3][living room]
Main wireless router is in room 3.
But no signal at the far end of room1 and living room.
Currently have another router using different SSID in room1, but not very practical because my mom doesn't understand SSID. There are also 2 printers in room1 (hence the router-being-used-as-switch) which needs to be accessed everywhere.
Thinking of doing away with the wireless in room1, or even better the router because multiple SSID/router isn't as reliable when used by a mom. I may consider giving the LAN point in room1 to a networked printer and buying a wireless printer to replace a now-spoilt Brother.
Am currently considering two options - get a more powerful router, but that would be costly and I'm not sure if it helps if the smartphone itself is weak. Or, get homeplugs with wireless, another costly option.
