Microsoft Lumia 1330 rumored with 14MP and 5MP rear and front cameras

The Lumia 1330 could*be the first Lumia phablet to be released under the Microsoft brand.*

For those looking for a cheap phablet in the Windows Phone lineup, the Lumia 1320 is currently the only option for consumers, with the device offering a 6-inch display along with standard mid-range specs. Now, the latest rumor is suggesting that Microsoft is working on a successor to the Lumia 1320. Apparently, this device could*be dubbed Lumia 1330 and offer considerable upgrades in the camera department.

According to the rumor, the Lumia 1330 will feature a 14-megapixel PureView camera on the back, a big jump over the 5-megapixel rear cam on the Lumia 1320. On the front, the phablet is expected to come with a 5MP snapper focused at selfies, once again a considerable improvement over what was offered on the 1320. Oddly, the screen size is said to have come down to 5.7-inches, though the resolution is reportedly the same 1280×720 pixels as the Lumia 1320.

Other specs of the Lumia 1330 are said to include a Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It is expected to come with Windows Phone 8.1 GDR2 out of the box, and speculation pits an official announcement for March next year.
