Alleged Lumia 535 images leak with Microsoft branding on the front and back

The images offer a clear look at the world’s first Microsoft-branded Lumia phone.

Well, it looks like Microsoft’s upcoming announcement of the first non-Nokia Lumia might not have too many*surprises for us. We’ve already seen a couple of pictures of the device, and now, a new leak is giving us a look at an actual working unit. The images show a Lumia phone with Microsoft branding on the front and back; according to the leak, this device will be the Lumia 535, a successor to the mid-range Lumia 530 that launched not so long ago.

The rumored specs of the Lumia 535 include a 5-inch display of qHD (540×960) resolution, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 8GB of internal storage and a microSD slot, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, dual SIM slots, and a 1,900mAh battery. The specs suggest that apart from the fact that the Lumia 535 won’t have Nokia written anywhere on it, there won’t be much to write home about.

The phone will reportedly come in seven different colors (including orange and green), and that huge choice of paint jobs*might be one interesting thing about it.*As for pricing and availability, we should get that information early next weekend, Tuesday to be exact.
