Motorola to offer $140 discount on the new Moto X on Cyber Monday

The deal will bring down the price of the new Moto X to just a little over $300 off-contract.

Cyber Monday is fast approaching, and Motorola has officially announced the deal it will be offering to customers on December 1. Starting at 11 AM*CET, interested folks will be able to buy the second-generation Moto X at a $140 discount off-contract, while those on Verizon will be able to get it for a single penny on a two-year contract. Motorola will also be offering a 30 percent discount on the Moto X’s accessories, making it a very interesting deal overall from one of Android’s popular manufacturers.

The new Moto X features a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display, a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB of non-expandable internal storage, and a 2,300mAh battery. The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, with an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop expected before the end of this year, and offers features like touchless voice control and a near-native version of Google’s mobile OS.
