Wearable capacitive stylus deserves a thumbs up

Hilariously cute but conveniently simple, this thumb accessory makes stylus browsing in tablets and smartphones a lot more intuitive.

Fingerprints are an inevitable part of our capacitive touchscreen world. The common natural solution to prevent fingerprint marks is to use a stylus. However, browsing with it usually becomes cumbersome or clumsy if your tablet or smartphone is not optimized to use one. Thankfully though, there is a nifty gadget accessory that might just fix this problem.

The Thumb Stylus, as you can see, is a capacitive touchscreen stylus that is shaped like a human thumb. We probably don’t need to explain how this works, and there are actually other more minimalistic versions of the same kind of accessory. However it stands out because of one single factor, it’s a freaking human thumb. Something just tells us that this might actually have more uses than we could ever think it would.

The key point of course of this simple gadget accessory is intuitiveness. Using something that is more or less just an extension of a part of your body makes it easier to do tasks that you need to do with it. In this case, browsing the screen of your tablet or smartphone using only one hand becomes easier, and most importantly, fingerprint free.

The Thumb Stylus is now available in Japan with a price that is equivalent to $15.00.
