Check out this video of a bicycle beating a Ferrari supercar in a sprint.
A bicycle just isn’t that interesting anymore, but a rocket-powered one is.* Francois Gissy and his crew recently put together and demoed a rocket bicycle that broke the world speed record for its vehicle class.* Gissy launched his built-to-peddle machine to 207MPH, and that could be awesome of just flat out scary—depending on your perspective.
When the rocket-propelled bicycle was pitted against a Ferrari in a sprint to the finish line, the winner was decided the moment Gissy tapped on the launch button.* The bicycle took less than 7 seconds to finish the quarter mile, but it does take a somewhat daredevil mentally to actually saddle up and let the mini rocket*decide your fate.
