Unsurprisingly, the dual SIM variant of Samsung’s latest flagship will be exclusive to China at launch.
Consumers in China love dual SIM phones, and Samsung has always obliged prospective customers in the country by launching variants of its flagship devices with two SIM slots. With the Galaxy Note 4, things are no different – the dual SIM variant of the latest Galaxy Note has shown up in images and is set to go on sale in China in the near future.
As usual, the only change here is the support for using two SIM cards at once (though one SIM slot only supports 2G networks.) The hardware remains as top-notch as the standard Note 4, including a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 805 quad-core CPU clocked at 2.7GHz, 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 3,220 mAh battery.
The S Pen stylus is present as well, and the phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung’s heavy-handed TouchWiz UX on top. The dual SIM Note 4 is set to go on sale in China later this month, but*there’s no telling if it will make its way to other markets.
