Low-power laptop includes a touchscreen display and a AMD E1 Micro-6200T processor.
The computer that’s likely to be the highest-profile hardware win for AMD’s Mullins chip has been released. The Hewlett Packard Pavillion 10z laptop, which sports AMD’s E1 Micro-6200T processor is now available from HP.
The Pavillion 10z has *2GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, one USB 3.0 as well as one USB 2.0 port, HDMI and Ethernet. It comes with a 10.1 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display. For a GPU, the system uses the 300 MHz AMD Radeon R2 graphics core embedded in the SoC. The battery it ships with is something of a disappointment, with only 24 Whr which translates to less than five hours of battery life.
The laptop retails for $250 from HP’s online retailer.
