HELP! ASUS RT-N56U Unable to join online server GTAIV EFLC!

Hi,

Just got myself a new contract from MYrepublic that comes offer with the ASUS RT-N56U router. Basically im quite satisfy with the internet speed surfing online, downloading movies and game like Battlefield 4 has no issue. But when comes to connecting peer-peer multiplayer game such as GTA IV, 9/10 or even 10/10 of my tryouts will be failed and showing "Disconnected from game session" when trying to join any of the server/room. Trying to solve the issue gets me a migraine. Well at first i thought its due to myrepublic network which cause the problem. I had a chat with MYrepublic regarding the issue, they simply asked me to bypass the router, meaning connect directly from the modem to PC. And yes i did and it solved the issue, i can connect all of the servers. So from that onwards i came to understand that its router fault or settings i have to make to bypass the restrictions. I read some forum about the NAT enable, disabling firewall, enable upnp, open port forwarding could solve the issue but this router literally doesn't give a damn. Anyone who is more knowledgeable in router settings especially for the ASUS range, please help. Thank you.
