Good portable setup?

Hi,

There may be a possibility I'll be travelling a lot for short term work (e.g. up to a few months in each locale). If this happens, I'm considering to buy a good portable rig. Preferences:

- headphones preferred due to comfort, but open to custom iems though I have no experience with them (I don't like IEMs for long term comfort even with soft tips).

- size is important. less components is better as I prefer to travel light.

- no desktop components, everything run on battery. Avoids the 110v/240v power supply issue. If I'm stopping a long time I can bring along my desktop dac and pre to supplement the headphones.

Something along the lines of:

1) Source + Chord Hugo + TH900

2) AK240 + Fitear customs

If I do get something like the first combo, I can supplement with some cheaper headphones like Bose to take on flights. I also like HD800 for comfort, just not really the SQ.

Any recommendations or feedback?
