Samsung’s quest to really make Android tablets relevant continues, as the recently released Galaxy Tab Pros and Note Pro 12.2 are said to get even higher-end spin-offs in the form of an 8.4 and 10.5-inch Galaxy Tab S and enigmatic 13.3-inch “Warhol”.
Gone are the days Android OEMs dared to fight against Apple’s iPads merely with affordability weapons, it seems. Samsung for one is about to throw all caution aside, investing quite a bit of time and money in a state-of-the-art slate trio that will no doubt break the bank.
At least two of the three upcoming powerhouses shall sport pricey but vibrant Super AMOLED displays, plus fingerprint recognition technology, octa-core CPUs, hexa-core GPUs, 3 GB RAM (each) and top-notch 8 MP rear-facing cameras.
The third, allegedly codenamed Warhol, carries T910 and T911 model numbers and is likely to be marketed as the Galaxy Tab Pro 13.3. Mammoth size notwithstanding, the T910/T911 might actually look less impressive than the Tab S duo, boasting a “run-of-the-mill” LCD WQHD (Quad HD) screen and, possibly, no fingerprint scanner.
Unless GSM Arena’s source misread some of the signs and the giant is in fact destined to supplement Samsung’s Galaxy Note lineup. That would certainly explain the Warhol alias, right?

All in all though, I’m afraid we only know for sure this 13.3 incher will run Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI and Magazine UX… whenever it breaks cover. As for the Tab S pair, the lists of features have been detailed, a few high-res photos are around, so the formal announcements could happen any day now. Literally any day.
