‘Titanfall’ on PC is a 21 GB download, requires 48 GB installation space

You might want to get a larger SSD before Titanfall launches on March 11.

When asked about how big the download size would be for Titanfall, Respawn’s Vince Zampella announced that the game would be a 21 GB download, and would require 48 GB of installation space. While PC games usually require a lot of space, with last year’s Call of Duty: Ghosts accounting for over 40 GB HDD space once installed, Titanfall is setting a new standard in this regard.

However, the minimum system requirements for the game are not that demanding. You can run the game if you have a configuration that features an AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, a GPU that has at least 512 MB VRAM and a 64-bit installation of Windows 7, 8 or 8.1. The game finished its beta stage last week, in which over 2 million players took part. The retail game hits store shelves on March 11 in the U.S.
