Recently I gotten the SamKnows Whitebox (TP-Link model number: TL-WDR3600-UK-IDA) and installed it as per the instructions given but somehow for reasons not yet identified the ethernet link always kept getting dropped offline repeatedly at a regular interval of approximately every 3 seconds or so, momentarily for only just a split millisecond each single time (the internet LED indicator on the Whitebox flashes off then on again rather quickly) but this is enough to cause whatever networking activities (gaming, web browsing etc. etc.) that I'm doing to timeout and disconnect more than often not thus I'll have to either log back in or refresh everything yet again.
But the funny thing is when I'm uploading large amount of data say when seeding BitTorrent files, such an issue will never occur and the networking connection remains fine. Anybody knows why is this happening and is there anything I can do about it or do I have to file a "RMA" and ship the Whitebox back to SamKnows (UK)?
Setup as follows...
ONT (LAN Port 01) --> Router (Broadband Port)
Router (LAN Port 01) --> Whitebox (Internet Port)
Whitebox (LAN Port 01) --> PC (LAN Port 01)
