Panram’s Light Sword memory modules feature LED lighting

Panram is looking to distinguish itself by offering memory modules that light up during gaming sessions.

Panram has been making DRAM modules for more than ten years, but has only recently started to sell memory modules under its own brand name. The Taiwanese manufacturer now makes RAM modules, USB flash drives, SSDs, flash memory and accessories.

Its DDR3 RAM modules, sold under the Light Sword series, are catered toward gamers. The modules feature a distinctive black on red design and a diamond-cut aluminium heat sink. The memory modules also feature a unique fiber-optic LED that lights up the RAM sticks when in use.
