I just got an old laptop Acer 4600 running XP, because my room had only 1 network wire which is connect to PC, but PC had 2 network ports, so I connect the laptop to the 2nd network port and enable sharing, but laptop still cannot connect to internet, and I try the network cable with cross-over cable, also cannot connect to internet for laptop.
Can expert help me how to configure the laptop or PC so the laptop can go internet with connection from PC?
I am not running wireless, only wired cables. Or need some more hardware to make it work ?
