My husband is doctor and like most doctors, he's a very busy person. These past few months he's been really moody and has even gotten to the point that he even snapped at our son when he asked him for a bedtime story. I do understand that he has a lot of work-related stress. I can see him lugging charts, journals, books, etc from his clinic to the hospital and to our home. I have been wondering how to help him with his work. I know that I am a good and supporting wife but I want to do more for him. And so yesterday, when I was paying my bills online, I suddenly thought, why not ask him to go paperless? I did some research earlier and there are a lot of electronic health records system available. However, I want to make sure that the software I choose is really reliable before I tell my husband.
My question is, has any of you ever encountered a clinic that uses an EHR system? What do they use? Have you tried any EHR software? What is the best software that you've encountered so far? Can you give me any recommendations, and information?
I'd be really happy to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you.
