I bought a new wifi router TP Link TL-WR842ND
I changed my previous router as the wifi connection was intermitted and i thought that it is malfunctioning.
so I setup it as this:
Mode: 11bgn mixed
Channel Width: 40MHz
Channel: Auto
Max Tx Rate: 300Mbps
initially it was great.
but somehow the wifi connection stopped to a crawl or a total standstill.
I tried changing the channel but still no use.
The wired connection works great.
I am totally lost why this happen.
I tried changing the channel and move my laptop beside the router and the connection still is very bad.
what is wrong with it?
BUT VERY strangely, my nexus 4 can connect to the same wifi and surf the internet perfectly.
while my laptop struggle with a simple google search page loading.
while on wifi with laptop....
