Are there any guides out there for ddr4 overclocking and the x99 chipset?
I havent been in the oc game for quite some time and I recently got myself a 5960x and a rampage V... coming from a simple 2600k, the oc options are quite overwhelming and having quite a bit of oc failures and instabilities, turning here for some advice.
Im looking for a simple 4ghz daily oc and wondering why my rams are running at 2133 instead of the 2800 it was rated for... seems like running the at the xmp settings means pushing the bclk to 125hz... seems a bit of a jump from 100hz... considering that for the z77 chipsets dont advise playing with the bclks at all and just doing simple multiplier jumps.
