Discuss: [NEED ADVICE] Building my first rig

Hey beautifuls, its gonna be my first time building a rig and I will appreciate any advices/suggestions you guys got. (I think I'm on the correct forum right?) It's going to be mostly for gaming.

CPU: i5-4690K

MOBO: Deciding between GIGABYTE Z97-D3H ($215), MSI Z97S SLI PLUS ($200) and ASUS Z97 - K ($227).

GPU: MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G ($486) or Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming 4GB GDDR5 ($508)?

RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1866MHz DDR3

PSU: Corsair CX Series 600 Watt ATX/EPS Modular

SSD: Intel 520 Series Solid-State Drive 120 GB SATA 6 Gb/s

Harddisk: WD BLUE 1TB

Casing: Not yet decided but the NZXT Phantom 410 mesmerises me

Planning to purchase the GTX 970, RAM, SSD and PSU from Amazon which would cost me around $850. Is this worth it?

The rest planning to get from TradePac. Concern here is will the PSU watts be enough? Is Intel SSD reliable or should I get a Crucial? As for GPU, which is actually better? And is Tradepac.. reliable?

All the kor kors if got better suggestions, please feel free to speak up! Appreciate it.
