HELP! Asus RT-N56U main router Aztech 7002GRV to extend wireless to room

I am able to do this by connecting from my ethernet port of my RT-N56U to the ethernet port of my 7002GRV, DHCP is issued by my N56U.

I have also connected my room PC to the 7002GRV, and I can connect to the internet.

The problem lies with my wireless device, they are not connecting properly and there is always limited connection.

Anyone can guide me on how to set up my 7002GRV so that it can have DHCP on while my N56U is routing traffic to it?

E.g. N56U will handle 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.255

while 7002GRV will issue 192.168.2.2 - 192.168.1.255

Assuming the default gateway/address of the router is 192.168.1.1(N56U) and 192.168.2.1(7002GRV)

Or is it better for N56U to handle 192.168.1.3 - 192.168.1.200

and 7002GRV to handle 192.168.1.201 - 192.168.1.255

Assuming the default gateway/address of both routers are 192.168.1.1(N56U) and 192.168.1.2(7002GRV)

Thanks to whoever can help me!

[Help] Ram compatibility

Hi, a friend recently asked me to help plan out a rig with him and while thats all fine and dandy I seem to have hit a snag.

Normally I would have gone with a closed loop cooler, but for this current build I'm currently dabbling with aircoolers, something I have not done (lucky me to be born in the generation of affordable liquid loop cooling) I currently have no clue as to whether the current configuration would allow for non low profile ram modules.Current chosen Motherboard is the Asus H97 Gaming Pro paired with a 212X cooler.

Is there any website or something where i can check for stuff like these? (For future reference)

P.s. gonna leave the current rough plan here for any more comments/suggestions.

[Project Log] Demonite Red Harbinger Cross Desk

Items for the rig came progressively, didnt manage to get a shot of all the items in a photo. :sadd:

Rams used: Adata XPG DDR4 2800 64GB

Cooling parts used: EK Ram Monarch Modules, EK Ram Monarch Plexi CSQ

*Ram cooling not recommended, DDR4 hardly heats up that much as it is currently overpowered in the current market. This is just for cosmetic purpose only. :songdah:

Mobo used: Asus X99 Ramapage V Extreme

Processor used: Intel i7 5960X

Cooling parts used: EK-FB Kit Asus R5E Clean CSQ, EK Supremacy EVO Plexi CSQ

Stripping down the parts... and mounting the cooling kits.

And the tricky part of the build, figuring what fittings, extenders to use. Decided to use rigid tubing for the entire build, and you will face the challenges of having to match the height for the fittings to meet each other. Another problem is how you gonna run the loop (cool which first then which second), my suggestion is, dont really bother about the logic of cooling which first for effectiveness, worry about the configurations as some of the holes are too close, you will have to figure out how you going to work around it.

*Recommended to buy a few range of extenders and do some trial and error, different motherboard is slightly different. Keep playing around till you find yourself comfortable with the configurations.

FYI: Everything you'll ever need to know about the camera of the Note4

Saw this useful tips by Menneisyys@XDA >> Everything you'll ever need to know about th… | Samsung Galaxy Note 4 | XDA Forums

Quote:

Guys,

I've started a multi-part article series discussing how the Note4's camera should be used (and how it compares to other high-end phones, cameraphones or even standalone cameras).

The first two parts in the series have already been published:

Part I: FULL REPORT: Samsung Note4 vs. Nokia 808 vs. Fuji X-E1 low-light performance + Note 4 tips & tricks: Android Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review

Part II: TIPS: Getting the most out of the Note 4 camera in broad daylight + using VERY high shutter speeds: Android Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review

This series will be of particular interest to Snapdragon 805 users. Exynos users, at the moment, will find the series less interesting, as third-party apps, currently, can't access the (almost) non-processed image stream and they, consequently, can't export non-overprocessed images.

EDIT (2015/01/17): Part III is published on HDR: TIPS & TRICKS: Shooting HDR images with the Note 4 – recommended techniques: Android Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review

EDIT (2015/01/24): a brand new writeup is here at XDA; you should start with it instead of the previous ones: http://ift.tt/1D0lKxs Last edited by Menneisyys; 25th January 2015 at 12:29 AM.

I would like to know if there's any major differences by using Audio-grade power filter extension by on your personal experiences.

(E.g. Belkin, APC vs Audio grade ones)

A quick search on google say there's a different but YMMV.

So if you don't mind please share some comments on it.

Also if you can recommendation please do let me know, currently I would not want to exceed $100.

Many thanks.

Sharing my POV: USB to DAC

Hi,

I'm here to share my point of view about using USB to DAC.

I had a DAC which connected via USB to my PC.

The problem I had with when connecting with USB to DAC, when I'm exporting a photos from LightRoom or playing games,

at times it will cut-off the connection and back for about 1/2sec.

Or even while playing music on locally, there will be some kind of jerky sound while I exporting photos from LR.

Cuts-off as in no music at that point for about 1 or 2 sec and even jerky sound.

(Sorry for my bad English, I'm not good in explaining)

What I did, instead of using USB, I used a toslink out from my motherboard & connect directly to my DAC.

Well, it work without any issues at all.

BTW, I always wanted to have a good gaming sound card. I owned a creative SB before and it is good.

The creative work well with gaming as you can really hear the surround and footsteps etc.

To improve that, I did purchased a Creative Zseries just for my headphones for gaming only.

Which work super great :)

Here is my connection now.. (Perfect sound to DAc and to Headphone for Gaming)

Creative Z series-> ACM -> Headphones

Creative Zseries -> Toslink -> DAC

This setup is the work best for me now..
